Description: The "Lady Grey" was built by Vickers, Sons & Maxim, Ltd. at Barrow-in-Furness, Great Britain in 1906. She was of 733 gross tons and built of steel. She was used by the Minister of Marine & Fisheries, Ottawa, Ontario. From 1936 to 1955, she was used by the Minister of Transport at Ottawa, Ontario. She sank in the ice in a collision with the ferry "City of Levis," on February 1 in the St. Lawrence River six miles east of Quebec, off Beauport Bank.
