| Description: | The Canadian wooden passenger steamer was built by Capt. John Simpson at Owen Sound, Ontario in 1883. The "Pacific" ran for the Great Northern Trans. Co. (White Line) between Owen Sound and Collingwood to Manitoulin and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She was destroyed by fire at her wharf at Collingwood on Nov. 3, 1898 and replaced by the "Germanic." |
