dc.description |
The 20th Century Limited rolled along Lake Erie's south shore as it traveled between New York City's Grand Central Terminal and the LaSalle Street Station in Chicago. Because it made few station stops or stops for coal and water, the stylish passenger train covered the 800-mile journey in as little as 15 hours, 30 minutes. |
