dc.description The Detroit ship building Company of Wyandotte, Michigan built the "Tashmoo" for the White Star Line in 1900. The line used the ship to carry passengers between Detroit and Port Huron with several stops at Tashmoo Park. The park, owned by the White Star Line, was a pleasant destination for Detroit-area residents looking for summer fun. en
